AVEDA‘s Intensive Hydrating Masque is definitely a jack of all trades. Its essential purpose is to hydrate dry skin & like most other masks it works best after cleansing and exfoliationg skin. Depending on skin type it should be used once every 1-3 weeks and left on skin about 10-15 minutes. Now here comes the “Double the Fun” part! You can leave this product on for extended periods of time and your skin will slowly absorb it. The mask leaves skin hydrated and non-greasy because of its gel water-like consistency. My personal favorite use for it is sunburn after care. You can use it all over your body on sun burnt areas, after cleansing area apply and leave on overnight to re-hydrate skin. It works amazing and feels cool going on.If your skin type is dry, mature, or sunburnt AVEDA Intensive Hydrating Masque should definitely be in your repertoire.

Stop the Stage Make-up
Summer season has arrived. Time to switch up your beauty routine and
try some new, fun looks for the hotter months to come. It’s time to
retire your liquid/creme foundation & full coverage powder for some
tinted moisturizer (with SPF, of course) and translucent powder to keep
your skin in optimal condition. Heat and humidity adding to a full
face of make-up equals clogged pores and a runny, shiny look. Not to
knock intense shadows, but is an intense smoky glittery eye really
necessary poolside or at the beach? Try out the shadows you haven’t
used all year that cute coral, funky green and pretty pink because you
can! Waterproof mascara is another good option so your sweat doesn’t
make you look like Ozzy Osbourne in concert. Your lips need extra
moisture this time of year, so lather up and try just using a gloss to
lighten your look. Don’t forget bronzer!! Bronzer adds beautiful
shine, color, and dimension when applied properly. It can also help
even out skin tone if your body is a little more tan than your face.
Just lighten up! Your summer make-up routine can be quicker,
lightweight and more free-spirited.

Clinique Even Better Moisturizer
Been using Clinique’s Even Better Moisturizer with spf 20 about 3 times a week for the past 4 months
( The reason I was not using it everyday was because I usually use a tinted moisturizer to help even out skin tone under my make-up). Moisturizer should be used after cleansing and toning once/twice daily. When you first apply about a nickel sized amount it does feel a bit heavy, but after about 5 minutes it settles. The moisturizer sits on the skin well, doesn’t feel greasy, or like it’s clogging your pores. Not only does it offer the daily benefits of moisturization and sun protection it also helps even out skin tone. It minimized redness & appearance of scars. Its suited for all skin types (mine being extremely sensitive, acne-prone & oily) and actually holds true to what the label reads, skin tone correcting moisturizer with sun protection.

Turkey Neck
As good as turkey may taste, it definitely is not as easy on the eyes. One of the first things you do to prepare a turkey is forget all about the neck and keep the process moving, something very similar to what you may be doing with your skin care regimen! Our neck and decolletage are tell-tale signs of our age and saggy, wrinkled “turkey” necks have a lot to say. The skin in that area is very thin making it extremely sensitive to all the elements. In order to slow down. or better yet prevent, the aging in that zone is to treat it as you do your face. Shave some years off by simply taking the extra moment daily to use toner, moisturizer and sun protection .
