False eyelashes are not just for special events anymore, they seem to be working their way into more & more everyday make-up routines. They add fullness, shape and definition to the eye area. Start by measuring the lash on you eyelid and trim any excess length. Some lashes are self adhesive, although most you have to add glue. Personally speaking even when dealing with self adhesive lashes I still add glue for added security & recommend using black glue, clear glue always seems to dry to a white color. Lash glue usually comes in tubes in which case you squeeze an even layer across the base of the lash. Others come in containers, you can dip a toothpick in there & line lash or make a tiny puddle & drag lash base through. Be warned!! Lash glue stains so if you drop it on any surface or clothing address that immediately. Let glue dry about 20 seconds until it gets some tackiness to it instead of just a wet feel. Begin applying from inner to outer eye along lash line NOT eyelid. Keep your eye closed and allow to dry completely (about 1-2 minutes) before opening your eye, this is crucial in securing the lash. Finish up with some eyeliner, possible some mascara and bat those lashes!!
